From the Vigilance Office's Desk
The Vigilance Cell was created in the University in the year 2017 for detecting and preventing unethical
practices in its jurisdiction. Since then it is functioning efficiently to ensure transparency, honesty
and accountability in different activities of the University. The Cell helps in creating a culture of
integrity by implementing policies that minimize opportunities for corruption and misconduct. It takes
immediate action on complaints regarding corrupt practices and irregularities to prevent unethical
behaviour, when identified, and reports to higher authorities for necessary action.
It has also successfully organized training and awareness programme during Vigilance Awareness Week in
association with the O/o the Vigilance Bureau Unit, Amritsar, Punjab, earlier to sensitize various
stakeholders related to the University activities. This Cell is committed to promote conducive and safe
environment for all the members of this prestigious Institution under the able and visionary leadership
of the Worthy Vice Chancellor.
