Bebe Nanaki University College (Girls), Fattu Dhinga (Sultanpur Lodhi)
Bebe Nanaki Girls University College, Fattu Dhinga has been established in the year 2019 keeping in view the importance of girls’ education in rural areas. It has been observed that many girls are deprived of basic education in villages, and parents are often not willing to send their wards to far‑away places.
In celebration of the 550th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, joint efforts have been made by the Punjab Government and Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar to establish a new constituent college in village Fattu Dhinga, Sultanpur Lodhi.
The girls shall be groomed in such a manner that they will be able to stand shoulder to shoulder with men in society after attaining education from this college. Education will not be limited to academic development only but will also focus on social and personal well‑being.
The college, with its state‑of‑the‑art infrastructure, well‑equipped laboratories, library, and dedicated faculty, is a boon for this area. The college will run various courses such as B.A., B.Sc. (Non‑Medical), B.Sc. (Medical), B.Com, B.C.A., and B.Voc (Fashion Designing).
With the earnest efforts of the competent faculty, students will accomplish their academic goals with persistence and will be self‑reliant to cope with the pressures of modern times. The college has immense potential and a promising future.
