  2. Bachelor of Science in Genetics/Human Biology/Biotechnology/Bachelor of Technology (associated with hospitals for two years), Master of Science in Life Science with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate.
  3. Any other examination recognized equivalent thereto with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate.
  4. Post Graduate Diploma holder in Hospital Management from Guru Nanak Dev University will be eligible for lateral entry to the second year of the course with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate.

Research Activities

The niche area of research of this department is Sports Sciences in its various disciplines with an endeavour of elicit evidence for current sporting practice. This includes all areas of sports science from nutrition, sports and exercise physiology, training methods as well as kinesiological EMG. The department is also actively involved in research in the area of application of exercise to lifestyle medicine.
