- a) Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Sanskrit.
- b) Bachelor Degree in any subject with at least 50% marks (45% for SC) in aggregate.
- c) Bachelor of Arts with Sanskrit as an elective subject with at least 45% marks (40%
for SC)
- d) Shastri (New Scheme) Examination.
- e) Master's Degree in another subject or any other examination recognized equivalent
thereto.
Admission will be based on merit of the candidate in the Entrance Test to be
conducted by the Department.

2. Relevance of Sanskrit Literature in Modern Age. Regarding above mentioned
