Message by Coordinator

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in December 2022 re-accredited the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar with CGPA of 3.85 out of 4.00 at "A++". This is the highest level grade, as per the accreditation framework of NAAC. In addition, the University has been conferred upon "University with Potential for Excellence" status and has also been classified as "Category I" university by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

The National Educational Policy (NEP) 2020 emphasises collaborations between industry and higher education institutions to foster research and innovation for holistic development of the society. In line with this vision, the University Industry Linkage Programme (UILP) of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar facilitates in developing liaison between various departments of the University and related industries for improving the internship opportunities / job prospects of the students. UILP also aims to work closely with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) for building an environment conducive for strengthening the university-industry linkages.

I would like to convey my sincere gratitude to the worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Karamjeet Singh, the Chief Patron, whose foresighted vision and dynamic leadership has always encouraged us to make fruitful university-industry linkages for overall development of our students at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.

In such arrangements the research is performed by professionals from both the University and the industry.
